Brand Guidelines

SDH helped Asymmetric Research—a security firm focused on L1/L2 blockchains—craft a credible brand and site from scratch, aligning their visual identity with the precision and high-stakes nature of their work.

Challenge

After breaking off from their previous company to start something new, Asymmetric Research was diving headfirst into a tough, technical industry with zero marketing assets in place. They had a name—but no logo, no website, no messaging, and no materials to explain who they were or what they did. With a tight timeline, the challenge was clear: build a brand and online presence from the ground up, and make it strong enough to stand out right away.

Solution

We jumped right in with Asymmetric Research, digging deep to understand the ins and outs of blockchain security and sizing up the competitive landscape. Working closely with the founders, we translated their big ideas into a standout brand identity, helping them look and feel established from day one. We took their highly technical expertise and shaped it into clear, approachable language, paired with custom visuals and icons that make their services easy to understand—even if you're not a blockchain expert.

For the website, we went with a user-friendly platform that gives their team full control to update content quickly and easily—no coding headaches involved. Now they can effortlessly add new services, share insights, and expand their online presence. As Asymmetric Research keeps growing, we're right by their side, providing ongoing design and development support to ensure their site always stays sharp and evolves with them.
